THE WORKOUT
PEAK|45 is NOT Pilates, it’s Lagree Fitness. Founded by celebrity fitness trainer and bodybuilder, Sebastien Lagree over 20 years ago in Los Angeles, California. The PEAK|45 Lagree Fitness experience is 45-minutes of time-under-tension training, performed shoeless on a Megaformer. Each 45-minute class is sequenced to target every part of the body: core, legs, upper body, and obliques.
THE MEGAFORMER
The Megaformer is a state-of-the-art tension training platform. Resistance is provided by “light load” and “heavy load” springs that simulate “variable tension training”, a weightlifting training concept; the farther the springs are stretched, the more resistance they provide. The goal of training on the Megaformer is to keep your body “under tension” or “in the work zone” for the longest period of time possible, all while prioritizing form and alignment. Traditional athletic positions, such as lunging, squatting, planking, etc., are performed on the Megaformer, however, because the carriage moves with your body, the muscles of the core are called upon 100% of the time. Lagree is a balance practice simulating external and unforeseen forces present in sport and athletic endeavors, to improve not only muscle and cardiovascular endurance, but also mental endurance. The Megaformer demands your body, mind, and breath work together for 45-minutes, creating an almost meditative experience!

Each class is designed to keep you under tension for 45-minutes to achieve muscular fatigue, which results in strong lean muscles and core strength within days. You’ll activate muscle groups you never knew you had! This way, you can get the results you have always wanted – FAST!
Cardiovascular & Muscular Endurance
Slower = Harder. Going slow and controlled removes the MOMO (momentum) from the equation reaching muscle fatigue faster while building endurance. Just remember, at PEAK45 Lagree, the slower you move, the better the results!

How do I sign up for a class?

I’m out of shape. Can I do the class? What level do you have to be?

The Lagree Megaformer is one of the most versatile and state-of-the-art fitness systems in the world. There are hundreds of variations, modifications, and exercises that can be performed on this machine – making things either more accessible or more challenging – for each and everyBODY! Is this Pilates?
While the Lagree Method incorporates elements of Pilates, it is not. Like Pilates, it is low impact and targets your core, but our classes are performed at a much higher intensity level.
How often should I take class?
This depends on how experienced you are with this workout. We work your muscles to failure so you will feel sore. It is important to take a break in between. We recommend 3 times a week. But if you are more active then you could come 5 times a week. If you are less active then try 1 – 2 times a week.
People who have been coming for years still get sore every time. Just listen to your body and you’ll be fine!
What do I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes you can move easily in, much like you’d wear to the gym or a yoga class. For both safety and sanitary reasons, we require that you wear socks with a grip on them.
How early should I arrive?
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your class start time. If it’s your first time at PEAK45, please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to go over the Megaformer machine.
What happens if I am late?
We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes before class. We understand that there is traffic, but you will lose your spot if you are not on time. It is for your safety to arrive on time so that you can warmup your center core.
Is there a waitlist for full classes?
Yes, registering for the waitlist is just like registering for a class. When scheduling, choose “Yes, Add me to the Waitlist”. You will be notified via email if you have been moved from the waitlist and added to a class. If your plans change, please remove yourself from the waitlist.
All group classes require a 10 hour cancellation notice, so if you’re added to a class from the waitlist at the last minute, be aware the 10 hour cancellation still applies.
What is the class cancellation policy?
Late-Cancel and No-Show Fees
If you cancel a class less than 10 hours prior to the scheduled start time, you will be assessed a late-cancel fee. If
you fail to attend a class you are signed up for, you will be assessed a no-show fee. Fees are assessed based on the
payment method used for booking the class.
- Monthly pass:
- Late-cancel fee – $15
- No-show fee – $15 + loss of a class
- Punch card/Drop In:
- Late-cancel fee – $15
- No-show fee – $15 + loss of a class
Private sessions require a 24 hour cancellation notice. Everyone must agree to the cancellation policy in order to
attend PEAK45. There will be no exceptions.
What is the age limit?
14 years or older. If you’re under 18, we require a signature from a parent or guardian.
Can I take a class if I am pregnant?
If you are highly active and fit or familiar with this workout/practice, then you can participate with modifications. However, if you are new to this workout, we recommend that you consult your medical professional.
How do I hold or cancel my membership?
Cancelling Monthly Memberships.
To cancel a monthly membership outside of the initial contract period, please provide written notice at least 45 days
prior to the cancellation date. Our system is unable to prorate returns. Therefore, cancellations that do not comply
with the 45-day rule cannot be refunded. If you are cancelling within the contract period, please remember that an Early
Termination Fee will be applied. Please email info@peak-45.com for assistance in cancelling your membership.
Suspending Membership:
Monthly Memberships can be suspended for any reason for a period of 30-60 days once per year. Suspending requires 7-days
notice. Any additional suspensions require a medical reason.
*The 45-day policy is based off of the membership billing date. We must obtain a request to cancel 45 days prior to the
final payment.
